Maithili Language

Maithili is an Indo-Aryan Language spoken by numerous speakers in East Indian states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and West Bengal. A large number of Maithili speakers are also found in Delhi and Maharastra also. In 2003 it was included in the eighth schedule of Indian Constituition. According to linguists it is the source of origination of famous Hindi language.
